I am happy to say I earned my D.Min. degree (second doctorate) from the Moravian School of Theology in May 2026. I am thankful to friends, family, the faculties of SOBE and MTS, and, of course, to my wife Susan, of blessed memory.

The four-horned or four-winged biretta is worn by Catholic clergy who have earned a doctorate. The red pom-pom and trim denote that the degree was in ministry or theology. This hat is NEVER worn in church services. I assist with the Catholic Club on campus so as an ordained deacon I was making a little bit of a statement.
